TYPOLOGY OF ROUTES

The trails are mainly suitable for expert riders. In the initial part of the paths, the land is usually earthy. As you descend and approach the sea, you gradually move to a mixed terrain with rocks and stones. The slopes of some trail sections are distinguished by technically difficult crossings. The length and time of the tour vary according to the path.

LOCATION

Finale Ligure is truly one of the most popular destinations for mountain biking. World-famous trails do not need to be introduced.

NATO base and the Colle del Melogno (Din) are the starting point for many paths/trails. One of the peculiarities of the location is that the mountains are a few steps from the sea, as well as a morphology of the territory unique in its kind. Finalborgo is the reference point and meeting place for many outdoor sports enthusiasts. Here you can find also many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the typical local food and wine.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

During or after rain the complexity of the tour changes radically, exponentially increasing the difficulty because of slick trails.

BEST SEASON

The tour is organized all year round. In winter the Nato Base and Melogno areas can be affected by heavy rain, snow.
